Ruben Moreno

Ruben Moreno was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Moreno started his acting career landing roles in such films as the thrilling adaptation "The Third Voice" (1960) with Edmond O'Brien, the Lana Turner dramatic adaptation "Madame X" (1966) and "Backtrack" (1969). He also appeared in the Dustin Hoffman dramedy "Little Big Man" (1970), the Leslie Nielsen sci-fi flick "The Resurrection of Zachary Wheeler" (1971) and the Pam Grier action movie "Coffy" (1973). He kept working in film throughout the seventies and the eighties, starring in the Stuart Gillard comedy "Why Rock the Boat?" (1974), "The Master Gunfighter" (1975) and the Cloris Leachman comedy "Herbie Goes Bananas" (1980). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Legend of Valentino" (ABC, 1975-76). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the action picture "Interceptor Force" (1999) with Olivier Gruner. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "The Star Maker" (1980-81). Moreno most recently acted in the drama "How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer" (2008) with America Ferrera.
