After being assigned a hostage situation at the offices of one of Mexico’s most powerful consortiums, hostage negotiator Eugenia Velazco quickly realizes that the case will be the most difficult of her career.

In the face of a possible attack, Eugenia is forced to switch up her strategy in order to prevent further destruction in the city. But the criminals have no intent to let up, and make clear that the takeover at the offices was only the beginning.

Eugenia takes over negotiations in the latest kidnapping, but the hostage takers' silence causes much concern for the hostages. Meanwhile, Juan receives an unexpected visitor at the jail; the tables appear to turn as an old victim holds the keys to his future.

Eugenia has to turn to Juan to regain control of the hostage situation at the CEM. Farolito, meanwhile, makes contact with the police; everything appears to be on track until an unexpected turn of events leaves Eugenia a hostage herself.
