Plagued by disturbing sexual thoughts and at the end of her rope, Marnie, 24, moves to London on a mission to change her life; alone in the big city, she stumbles into the lives of Shereen, Amber and Joe.

Marnie decides to attend meetings for people suffering from sex addiction, where she meets an unexpected kindred spirit in recovering porn addict Charlie. Later, things start to look up for her when she talks herself into a job opportunity at Ethel Magazine.

Marnie is determined to make the most of being single while living in London and jumps into bed with Benji, which has unexpected consequences at work. Meanwhile, Charlie takes a chance at rekindling his relationship with his ex-fiancé, Flora.

After hitting rock bottom, Marnie and Charlie try to pick themselves up. Marnie reaches out to Amber, only to find herself thrown together with a newly interested Joe. Meanwhile, Amber gets the chance to interview one of her heroes.

Marnie's best friend Helen from Scotland comes to visit her, and Marnie is terrified of the sexual thoughts that pop into her head when she is around. Encouraged by her new therapy, Marnie tries out trusting her old friend with her secrets, and is beyond pleased when Helen seems to understand her problem.

In the final episode, Marnie realizes that she has pushed Shereen too far, and becomes paranoid that everyone has turned against her now that they are aware of her condition. Marnie becomes consumed by the idea that she is not getting better and begins to spiral.
