A shot is fired changing everyone's fate. Ten years later at dawn, it is the end of carnival, and an inevitable tragedy is confirmed. Penha waits for daylight to begin her journey: she is determined to find her son.

Penha begins the search for her son and puts Quirino up against the wall. He knows that a new problem is coming and will have to be solved. Ten years earlier, Seu Chapa receives a phone call and Penha soon realizes that something is wrong.

In Penha's neighborhood, the police and the parallel power go hand in hand. Quirino feels the pressure while Maciel doubts his boss. Beto begins to put into practice a plan to help expand his father's business.

Quirino wants to solve his problems with Penha at all costs. Things escalate between Beto and Bruna, and Quirino discovers that betrayal is closer than he could have imagined. In the past, Quirino, Penha and Chapa reunite.

Night falls and the time has come for Quirino and Penha to settle things. What she doesn't know is that fate is already forged, and before dawn, they’ll both find that the last twenty-four hours have been everything, except an ordinary day.
