Matthew Wilder

Matthew Wilder brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Wilder started his entertainment career with his music in films like the remake "And God Created Woman" (1988) with Rebecca De Mornay, "Heart of Dixie" (1989) and the Richard Gere smash hit comedy "Pretty Woman" (1990). His music also appeared in the sports comedy "The Air Up There" (1994) with Kevin Bacon. Wilder was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "Mulan" in 1998. He followed this honor with songs in "Out of Sync" (1999-2000), the Marla Sokoloff comedy "Sugar & Spice" (2001) and the Jason Statham dramatic adventure "The Transporter" (2002). Wilder's music was also featured in the Hilary Duff comedy adaptation "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" (2003), the documentary "Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert" (2008) with Miley Cyrus and "Hannah Montana: The Movie" (2009) with Miley Cyrus. His music was also featured in the romantic comedy "He's Just Not That Into You" (2009) with Jennifer Aniston. Wilder's music was most recently used in "Cedar Rapids" (2011).
