The King of the Machos

Charly turns 18 and decides it's time to reveal his identity as a transgender young man, but he must face the prejudice of the inhabitants of the extremely sexist village he lives in and, even worse, the prejudice of his own family and friends. He can count on his best friend Antonia, who supports and encourages him to embrace his authentic self. Charly then embarks on a mission to earn the respect and acceptance of everyone around him.

Charly signs up for the 'The King of the Machos' contest to prove to that he can be more of a macho than anyone else there. While the villagers get ready for the town’s event of the year, Charly trains hard to face his competitors. Among them is León Castillo, the obvious heir of the macho dynasty title.
