S4 E13: In a classic whodunit evening of intrigue and mystery, private eye Kermit investigates the “dastardly, cold-blooded, heinous crimes” being committed at The Majestic Theatre. It’s a Wednesday evening in July when the glamorous actress Liza O’Shaughnessy (played by guest star Liza Minnelli) walks into Mr. Frog’s office to seek his help. She’s been living in a nightmare of terror and dread, as someone has threatened to murder cast members unless they close down their show. No one is safe, not even Fritz the director (Julius Strangepork), and anyone could be the culprit, including O’Shaughnessy’s feisty understudy (Miss Piggy). But the show must go on! After the cast performs “Great Day” (as angels in the clouds), Patrol Bear (Fozzie) reports for duty and gets down to business interrogating everyone and confirming alibis. But just when someone is about to name the murderer, they’re bumped off! Kermit’s got a plan, but will he catch the killer or will he croak? All will be revealed before the cast performs “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” and the final curtain has fallen!
