Berlin Express
During the heady, distrustful, dangerous days just after World War II, the paths of six people from different countries cross on a train bound from Paris to Germany in this tale of intrigue, blackmail and murder aboard the Berlin Express. Merle Oberon and Robert Ryan star as the mysterious European woman Lucienne and American agricultural expert Robert Lindley on a train with British educator Sterling (Robert Coote), Soviet Army officer Lt. Maxim (Roman Toporow) and French military official Perrot (Charles Korvin). Also on the train is an important German statesman who can lead his country into a peaceful future. Now, in this milieu of distrust between the former Allies--and a growing Nazi resistance movement--someone on the train is willing to murder to keep the statesman from reaching Berlin. And the list of suspects narrows as, one-by-one, the passengers begin to die.
