Don’t Call it Mystery Special

When the body of his classmate Ken Sagae is discovered, Totono Kunou (Masaki Suda) becomes the prime suspect in this shocking murder case. Interrogated by Inspector Kanzo Yabu (Endo Kenichi), Totono uses his exceptional speaking skills to prove his innocence while detectives investigate his classmate Ren Sagara (Jun Shison). After the police quickly close the murder case, Totono, Ren, and their classmate Seiko Furomitsu (Sairi Ito) are invited to participate in an unusual part-time job involving finding a 30-year-old time capsule. With his unique gifts, Totono must help his classmates unravel this mysterious challenge. Adapted from the manga "Mystery to Iunakare" by Tamura Yumi, this is a 2023 Japanese mystery thriller directed by Hiroaki Matsuyama.
