Fengshen: Painting Saint's Back

In the final years of the Shang Dynasty, legendary warrior Wu defeated enemies using the mystical God Brush before retreating into mountain forests. Thousands of years later, famous painter Wu Dao Zi (Gong Xiao Jun), commissioned by Emperor Xuang Zong (He Zhong Hua), begins restoring an ancient divine painting. When the masterpiece mysteriously vanishes, Dao Zi embarks on an unexpected journey that leads him to discover the powerful God Brush and uncover a dangerous conspiracy threatening the world. As fate guides him, Dao Zi must determine whether he can harness the brush's power and stand against growing evil. This is a 2021 Chinese fantasy film directed by Qin Kai that explores the epic battle between good and evil.
