A hot-blooded snack-bar waitress meets a fashion photographer from France who is passing through Montréal. He sees potential in her and, in a variation on the Pygmalion theme, sets out to transform her into a model despite the scepticism of her friends and family. Produced by Denis Pantis, “the king of the single,” the movie is also a vehicle for the Québec music scene of the day, with appearances by Renée Martel, Bruce Huard, Michel Pagliaro and others.
