Michael Fassbender is Frank, a genius musician who performs wearing a giant fake head…that he never removes. Things get rocky between his bandmate, Clara (Maggie Gyllenhaal), and newest band member Jon (Domhnall Gleeson), who is convinced that the band is meant for stardom. After a series of rehearsal videos go viral, they land their biggest gig to date. They then must decide if the world is ready for Frank’s sound.
