In the lawless, disorderly days following the Civil War, gangs of former Confederate soldiers roamed the West robbing Yankee banks. Mickey Rourke stars as Graff, the leader of this ragged band, with Dermot Mulroney as Eustis, his second-in-command. When Graf orders one of his own men shot, a wounded man too hurt to go on, the others turn against him, leaving him truly on his own and hot for revenge at any cost. He can get revenge if he sells out to the law and leads the posse that is hunting for the gang. Now he must decide if vengeance is worth his pride.
