Rodolfo gets a summons from the Army to report for duty, however, he did not enlist. He travels to a recruitment office to try and straighten out the mess, then ends up meeting another recruit named Punk, a journalist who joined the Army to get away from his life and girlfriend, Diaz. Brooding Rodolfo befriends her, but he knows something she doesn't know: Punk leaves in the morning to go into the Army.
