Small-town Detective Connor Ryan investigates the brutal murder of a local man who was torn apart in the forest in an unknown animal attack. Joined by a wolf expert and conservationist, Maggie Talbot, Connor dives deeper into the case, uncovering disturbing signs of werewolf lore that draw skepticism from him. Looking for closure after her father’s disappearance and drawing on her past experience with wolves, Maggie is less skeptical. As their search for answers deepens, the danger comes to a head as a group of college students unknowingly venture into the same wilderness the attack occurred in, resulting in a race against time as the duo tries to uncover the truth before the beast claims more lives.
