Uprising

In this riveting chapter from history, a small, desperate group chooses to fight rather than go meekly to their slaughter--Uprising. September 1939. The Nazis force all 350,000 Jews in Warsaw into a tiny,enclosed area, the "Warsaw Ghetto," a place of starvation and disease--then begin to systematically murder the entire population of the ghetto. But after seeing most of their friends and family die, a small resistance movement--the Jewish Fighting Organization(JFO)--founded by teachers Mordechai Anielewicz (Hank Azaria) andYitzhak Zuckerman (David Schwimmer), young Tosia Altman (LeeleeSobieski) and others--fights back.
