Don Maxwell

Don Maxwell was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Maxwell began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the Lorne Greene adventure "Battlestar Galactica" (1978), "Humanoids From the Deep" (1980) and the Kent McCord adventure "Conquest of the Earth" (1980). He also appeared in the TV movie "The 3,000 Mile Chase" (NBC, 1976-77). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Hollywood's Most Sensational Mysteries" (NBC, 1983-84) and "Used Cars" (CBS, 1983-84). His film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like "Return of the Living Dead Part II" (1988), "Skin Deep" (1989) with Robert Arthur and the Robert Englund horror sequel "A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child" (1989). Maxwell continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Bloodlines: Murder in the Family" (1992-93), "Soul of the Avenger" (1995) and "Antz" (1998) starring Woody Allen. His credits also expanded to the James L. Avery and Aria Noelle Curzon blockbuster "The Prince of Egypt" (1998). Maxwell most recently worked on the animated adventure "The Road to El Dorado" (2000) with Kevin Kline.
