Nagore Aranburu

Nagore Aranburu was born in Azpeitia, Gipuzkoa, Spain. Around the time of her graduation from high school, Aranburu began pursuing professional acting jobs. She appeared in Spanish films like "Ione, Fly Up to Heaven" (1999) and "La noche del escorpión" (2002), both opposite star Kike Díaz de Rada. She worked sporadically through the decade to follow, amounting roles in projects including "Algo para descongelar" (2005), "Zeru horiek" (2006), and "He'd Never Do That" (2009). 2009, Aranburu gave birth to her first child with married high school sweetheart Xabi Alonso, a well-known professional footballer. Aranburu and Alonso married later that same year. After having their second child in 2010, Aranburu returned her energies to the screen, going on to star the comedy "Happy New Year, Grandma!" (2011), the drama "Wounded" (2013), and the politically charged film "Negociador" (2014). Aranburu earned especial acclaim for her role in "Flowers" (2014), a drama film about a young woman with a mysterious secret admirer.
