Baekje and the Silla-Tang army begin to battle at Hwangsan Plain; 5,000 Baekje soldiers battle against the Silla-Tang army of 10,000; Kim Yu Shin'ss army matches up against Baekje's strong defense; Gye Baek bows to his Baekje soldiers.

The loyal Mu Jin, risking his life in escorting Queen Seonhwa and the young Prince Uija, earns the trust of King Mu; Queen Sataek is displeased with Queen Seonhwa and Uija carrying on the royal line; King Mu tries to protect Queen Seonhwa.
