Au volant d'une belle cubaine

José and Gildor try to buy a car in Cuba, but they realize how expensive cars are on the island. Thanks to their driver, Armando, and his mechanic friend, Alexis, they understand why cars are such a valuable asset in Cuban life and economy.

While José and Gildor are on the hunt for old racing cars, they learn about the extraordinary events surrounding the 1958 Havana Grand Prix. During the race, the legendary pilot Juan Manuel Fangio was the victim of a "friendly" kidnapping orchestrated by the revolutionary forces led by Fidel Castro.

Noticing that cars from the 1930s still roam Cuban roads, José and Gildor set out in search of the island's oldest car. This project leads them to a Ford Model T that they will have to learn to drive backwards.

Going in search of the island's most original convertibles, José and Gildor follow in the footsteps of a Ford Edsel whose hardtop has been modified to fit inside the rear trunk. At nightfall, the guys find themselves in the middle of a fiesta where controlled skids are in the spotlight.

José and Gildor want to find the most beautiful antique British car in Cuba. They meet mechanics Manuel Brenes and Ricardo Medel, who have just finished repairing an exceptional MG Model TC 1948. Their quest ends, however, at John Lennon Park, where an old client of Ricardo lets them drive his magnificent 1959 Jaguar.

Gildor and José receive a new tip as to where Cuba's oldest car is. As they travel to the village where she was last seen, the brake line of Armando's car breaks. Caught in the middle of nowhere, the guys have to rely on Cuban ingenuity.
