After failing her teaching certification again and again, Ha-neul finally passes an interview for a temporary role at Daechi High. Unbeknownst to Ha-neul, a rumor that she was hired unfairly begins to circulate around the school.

As the new semester kicks off, Ha-neul becomes overloaded with working for 2 departments simultaneously. At the same time, Ha-neul quarrels with her curriculum partner Kim Yi-Boon, who is known for being an oddball.

Despite the concern of other teachers, Ha-neul continues to help and share her work with Yi-boon. After successfully finishing the open class, Yi-boon suddenly changes her attitude, to the surprise of everyone.

When a former teacher announces his return from leave, the contracts of Daechi High's temporary teachers come under fire. As the last one to join the faculty, Ha-neul is selected to be dismissed before the negotiated date.

Seong-soon is delighted that a former colleague had become an admissions officer at Hanguk University, but Ha-neul discovers that she holds a grudge against Daechi High. Meanwhile, an error in Daechi High's final exam last year sets off a crisis.

Ha-neul is put in charge of a new club named Icarus, a special intensive class for gifted students. When Ha Soo-hyun devises midterm exams with material taught only to Icarus, Ha-neul confronts him to ensure fairness.
