The TARDIS is stolen; the Doctor and Jamie follow clues that lead to an appointment at a mysterious antique shop.

The Doctor and Jamie are transported back in time 100 years; there, in the home of inventor Theodore Maxtible, the Doctor encounters the Daleks.

Jamie explores Maxtible's house; the Doctor is forced by the Daleks to subject his companion to a series of tests.
