A new season begins and we meet with some new waste collectors: Momo and Jocelyn in Côte-des-Neiges, Tim and Peter in Westmount, a neighbourhood that requires specific skills, and the entire Beau Bonhomme family who reigns over the city of Brossard. These experienced team members show us how important teamwork is in the business.

It’s in the wealthy part of Brossard that the Beau Bonhomme family makes great discoveries. But that doesn’t make their jobs any safer: the guys tell us about their injuries. In Côte-des-Neiges, Jocelyn recounts her misadventures with biomedical waste and Nicko tries to understand the layout of the Ville-Mont-Royal neighbourhood.

The speed at which a truck fills up has a big impact on the length of the workday. Emptying at the dump involves a lot of time, that’s why Jocelyn and Momo are pushing their truck’s capacity to the limit. Nicko’s lost in Westmount. Between the swarms of wasps and unusual objects, he hurts Tim by mistake.

Waste collectors aren't fond of Halloween because, from their trucks, they can't see the kids on the streets. This brings back painful memories for Jocelyn. Stéphane sees his work increase as he has to pick up thousands of pumpkins from compost bins. At 59 years old, that’s a real challenge!

In Brossard, Mononc’ Jacques pushes young Adam to the limit of his capacities In the suburbs, the garbage collection is done at high speed since the area is quite large. In contrast to Westmount, where Peter must carefully drive his truck through narrow alleyways. Tim and Nicko discover a heap of garbage that is particularly juicy.

Fall is particularly hard this year since all the leaves fell at once due to high winds. The guys can’t get through it and neither can their trucks.
