Originally planned as a farewell tour for Jane's Addiction, the 1991 Lollapalooza music festival forever changes the music industry with its unconventional lineup and inadvertently gives birth to a cultural revolution.
Following the massive success of Lollapalooza in 1991, the festival explodes into the mainstream in the early 90s, featuring bands that become a soundtrack for an entire generation; including Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine, and The Beastie Boys.
Lollapalooza becomes the victim of copycats, as it struggles to survive in the late 90s; determined to keep the festival going, Perry Farrell finds a new partner to help usher the festival into the 2000s and expand its reach around the world.
