Here are the three families at war with COVID-19 who are taking great preventative measures. There’s no way this virus is going to affect these families! One family is equipped with a closet full of toiletries. The other has established a sanitation protocol that is constantly being reminded to their children.
Isolation, confinement and a sedentary lifestyle aren’t so appealing. The biggest challenge for larger families in quarantine, like the Bergeron-Dupuis’ or the Baker-Lacroixs, is the management of food resources! Each family member has a role.
At the Bergeron-Dupuis household, the torch is passed on to Laëticia who dreams of becoming a teacher. At the Baker-Lacroix household, renovations and spring cleaning are underway and the kids exchange bedrooms. When Édouard and Anthony get too excited, they are sent to the hot tub.
For both the Bergeron-Dupuis and the Martel-Rocherfort families, education is a priority! In one family, the mother gives out daily schoolwork to each child. In the other, the mother teaches classes with mandatory attendance. If the children have worked well, there’s a daily reward for them!
When Premier François Legault holds his press conferences, time stops in the Bergeron-Dupuis and the Martel-Rocherfort households. Afterwards, families discuss the subject of the day. Steve Dupuis washes his excavation trucks with his children, while Marie-Rose Martel teaches her children how to take care of a garden.
Now that all three families have the current situation under control, they take the time to think about their grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends. This last episode explores the hopes and fears of each family.
