The Rocheforts spend a good part of the summer at home. But the 8 children regularly visit their grandparents on the family farm where they make the most of the joys of summer. The clan is getting ready to visit Wildwood, but the kids will need to be patient, as the road to New Jersey is long.

In Wildwood, the Rochefort clan goes to the zoo where Marie-Rose makes sure that the troop stays together. The trip would not be complete without a dolphin-watching cruise and an evening of rides on the Cape May Croisette. School starts again soon, but this thought does not spoil the beautiful moments with the family.

In Saint-Rédempteur, the very large Lacroix family takes a break during the summer. With 11 children, 2 dogs and 1 ferret, rest is in order. Every summer, Philippe, a heavy machinery operator, takes one month off. The atmosphere is feverish at the Lacroix clan as the family is preparing to go on a trip together for the first time.

The Lacroix are invited by their friend Rémi, the owner of a hydrobase near La Tuque. They fly by seaplane to the Seigneurie du Triton where the beach awaits them. After these great thrills, they go kayaking, pedal boat racing, and lake crossing in rabaska. After this vacation, going back home will not be restful at all...

At Rapide-Danseur, the Boutins and their 9 children don't have time to be bored on their farm. They still take the time to celebrate their daughter Abigaelle's 10th birthday, and to make their traditional camping trip to Esker Lakes in Ontario. But preparing for a trip is never easy in a family of 11.
