Plagued by addiction and past trauma, Massey moves from Fort McKay to Edmonton to focus on his mental health. As he trains for a charity-boxing match, he realizes just how out of shape he is. Iceis Rain meets an inspiring young woman at a conference.

Iceis hits the powwow trail to dance in honour of murdered and missing Indigenous women and girls, but an arbitrary rule threatens to prevent her competing in her category. In pursuit of his inner macho man, Massey scares himself at a local shooting range.

Massey celebrates Pride in Vancouver, but the post-parade festivities overwhelm Massey, forcing him to seek help. After Queer Boxing Camp's River Tucker puts him through his paces, Massey returns to Edmonton to meet with his new therapist, Jon Jon.

Massey and his new therapist, Jon Jon, start the daunting process of unpacking Massey's childhood trauma. While planning a back-alley charity event, Massey connects with his makeup artist's Two-Spirit son, Kyle, revealing the importance of family support.

Iceis judges a drag competition in a surprising venue. She treats the winner to an Edmonton drag show, but she's triggered and her sobriety is threatened. Massey collects traditional medicines, and with his therapist’s help, is able to identify his safe place.

Iceis and Massey hit the road to have fun during Calgary's Pride Week. Massey meets and befriends a Two-Spirit child Alex/Tiffany and their parents. Iceis is scheduled to perform at a Women's Conference right after a keynote speech by Buffy Sainte-Marie.
