Harlee Santos has dedicated her life to being a single mom and a New York City police officer. Her squad of detectives at the NYPD is her family, but when their questionable practices attract the attention of the FBI, Harlee is recruited to work undercover for the FBI's anti-corruption task force must choose between ratting out her team or losing her daughter.

As Harlee grapples with becoming an FBI informant, Wozniak is suspicious of his crew members; a dark secret is revealed; Espada tries to help Tess.

Harlee refuses to relinquish evidence that incriminates Wozniak, but instead hands over an unofficial case involving a murder by a 3-D printed gun; Wozniak decides to confront Harlee.

The crew is forced to test Loman's loyalty when he struggles with guilt; Wozniak learns that Donnie is withholding information; Harlee accidentally leads the FBI to incriminating evidence.

A local drug lord discovers Wozniak's secret and tries to use it as leverage to recover drugs that Harlee and Tess confiscated; Harlee questions Stahl's motives and resorts to spying on him.

Harlee must persuade Stahl to arrest Saperstein to keep him safe from a suspicious Wozniak; Harlee's abusive ex claims someone else is responsible for the crime he is imprisoned for.
