The parents of the missing children scramble to come up with the outrageous ransom demanded by the kidnappers; Thalia and her family are ostracized as questions about her involvement reach a boiling point.

Emerging evidence exposes the coverup of a bullying scandal; some of the parents begin to distrust the police and hire a private investigator; Thalia comes face-to-face with one of the kidnappers.

When the kidnappers increase the ransom, Nasos concludes the motive is much more than money.

23 days passes since the school bus of children went missing without a break in the case; Detective Nasos comes under pressure from higher ranks to cut the kidnappers off from Thalia and reach an immediate agreement.
