Agent Hynes and her colleague are dealing with an impatient animal owner. Amélie Martel is getting used to her role as animal welfare supervisor at the Montreal SPCA during a very busy where all adoptions fees are being waived. Little Maëlla is there with her mother, trying to find a lifelong friend!
Agents Hynes and Simon follow up on a negligent pony owner. They also discover dozens of non-sterilized cats, some of them in bad shape. The Montreal SPCA informs future pet owners on the care their animals will need. Today, the spotlight is on the rabbits.
Agent Dupuis has to seize an impressive number of cats who were hidden in an unsanitary home, on top of making an owner understand that his loyal companion was suffering needlessly. For her part, Amélie Martel has to make sure that the 11 turtles who’ve just arrived to the Montreal SPCA have everything they need to be comfortable.
Agent Dupuis inspects a rabbit breeding operation trying to convince the owners to make necessary upgrades to their facilities rather than sending the poor animals to the slaughterhouse. For their part, Agents Hynes and Simon are helping fearful horses that have to move to a safe location where they’ll be treated well.
Agents Hynes, Dupuis and Simon are uniting their efforts to capture cats which were abandoned by their owners. At the same time, they’re bringing a friendly pony, named Albert, to a location that’s better adapted to his needs. At the Montreal SPCA, Amélie Martel is evaluating the behaviour of a dog named Anna to decide if she’s ready for adoption.
During a follow-up on a farm, Agent Hynes and her colleague spot an injured duck that needs urgent veterinarian care. At the Montreal SPCA, Amélie Martel is evaluating dogs coming from up north, in order to correct inadequate behaviours and place them in good families.
