The Italian Americans
By the late 19th century, Italians put down roots in the U.S. and "Little Italys" spring up around the country.
At the turn of the 20th century, over four million Italians immigrate to America.
A second generation of Italian Americans enters the labor movement, politics, sports and entertainment.
In post-war America, Italian Americans move to the suburbs, attend college and enter the middle class.
