First time principal, Matt Bashir, takes on the challenge of reforming a troubled boys' high school. His intense determination causes friction with staff, students and the local community as he works to create positive progress.

As police lock down the school to investigate a student's murder, Bashir struggles to contain the vengeful rage of the victim's family member.

Bashir experiences a Muslim funeral as the murdered student's ceremony is held at a mosque, while school police liaison officer Kellie notices something suspicious.

Detective Bilic and Kellie narrow down the list of suspects. Meanwhile, the murdered student's family member believes he knows who the murderer is and vows to exact revenge.
