Jacqueline Porel

Jacqueline Porel was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Porel began her acting career with roles in such films as the crime adaptation "Razzia" (1957) with Jean Gabin, the Brigitte Bardot drama "The Truth" (1960) and "Love On A Pillow" (1962) with Brigitte Bardot. She continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing in the Sophia Loren drama "Five Miles to Midnight" (1963), the drama "Anatomy of a Marriage: My Days With Jean-Marc" (1964) with Marie-Jose Nat and the Jacques Charrier drama "Anatomy of a Marriage: My Nights with Francoise" (1964). She also appeared in the adventure "La Dame dans l'auto avec des lunettes et un fusil" (1970) with Samantha Eggar. Porel had a number of different projects under her belt in the seventies through the eighties, including "La Promesse de l'aube" (1970) starring Melina Mercouri, "Une Femme, un Jour" (1976) and "Diva" (1982) starring Wilhelmenia Wiggins Fernandez. Her credits also expanded to "The Big Blue" (1988). Porel more recently worked on "La Nuit de Varennes" (1989).
