China Kantner became an actress when she was just 17 years old. Kantner began her acting career with roles in sitcoms like "Murphy Brown" (CBS, 1988-1998), "Home Improvement" (ABC, 1991-99) and "Grace Under Fire" (ABC, 1993-98). She also appeared in "Monty" (Fox, 1993-94). She next focused her entertainment career on film, appearing in "Airheads" (1994) and the Michael Kopelow comedy "The Stoned Age" (1994). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "L.A. Firefighters" (Fox, 1995-96). In her more recent career, she tackled roles in the Stephen Dorff dramatic adaptation "S.F.W." (1995) and "Grace of My Heart" (1996) starring Illeana Douglas.
