Two friends celebrate their birthday at the Hard Rock Cafe with a performance by Unwritten Law.

Jacque is a self-described nerd who has dreamed of her Sweet 16 forever. She sees it as the one night where she can be the princess and center of attention. The only problem is her party-hardy mother may just ruin all of Jacque's well-laid plans. Mom just wants Jacque to loosen up and have fun, while Jacque wants her mom to just be a mom. Jacque wants an elegant Venetian Carnivale theme where people wear masks and dress formally, but when her mom hears masks, she thinks Mardi Gras and insists on lots of beads. Jacque hates Mardi Gras and all it stands for and especially beads. From Jacque working up the nerve to invite her secret crush to the party to mom acting less like Jacque's mom and more like her sister, it’s wild ride to this sweet 16.

Ava is a Persian 15 year old from Beverly Hills who's half-Muslim and half-Jewish and chose to have a Sweet 16 instead of a Bat mitzvah. Her parents are divorced which is fine with her because when mom says no, she goes to dad. And she certainly gets everything she wants -- Ava jets to Paris to shop for her dress and auditions shirtless college water-polo players to carry her in on a pillow for her grand entrance into her Arabian Nights themed party. But when she's forced to face the consequences for running away with her friends, Ava's Sweet 16 may be ruined.

Hart is a 16 year old boy who wants to show that Sweet 16's aren't just for girls. His dad is a caterer to the stars and an expert party planner, but he sees this party as a chance for Hart to act like the man he's becoming and take control of planning his perfect party. But can this teenager live up to the task? He has huge ideas and an even huger budget, but does he have the balls to stand up to his father and really show what he's made of? From jaunts in private planes to Miami to up-close-and-very-personal auditions with Go-Go dancers, Hart and his dad butt heads and battle over what the ultimate birthday bash should be.

From re-creating the Vegas strip to importing regulation gaming tables, planning a one-of-a-kind grand entrance to spending $40k to have the hot West coast band Sugarcult to perform, no expense will be spared as these girls throw a party that's three times as crazy as anything we've seen before. But along with triplets comes three times the trouble! The only thing the girls agree on is the fact that their party has to be the biggest thing their friends have ever seen – but will they survive the planning?
