Tae Sang is paying a visit to Kyung Wook's home to collect a loan when he runs into his daughter Mi Do; the sight of Mi Do fighting tooth and nail with the thugs reminded him of himself when he was young.

Tae-sang Han now runs Golden Tree, the nation's largest loan company; Tae-sang spots Mi-do Seo working as a waitress.

Tae-sang asks Mi-do to live a comfortable life with him; he sends her on a business trip to Guam where she meets Jae-hee, Chang-hee's younger brother.

After Jae-hee spends time with Mi-do in Guam, he begins to fall in love with her; Tae-sang visits Mi-do's family and begins to build a relationship with her.

Chang-hee is released from prison and reunites with his younger brother, Jae-hee; Mi-do is reminded of horrific past incidents and begins to avoid Tae-Sang.

Jae-hee begins working at Golden Tree as the director of Mi-do's department; Tae-sang buys matching rings for him and Mi-do.
