Virtua Fighter

Akira sets out on a journey to find eight stars that "only those with true strength can see"; he finds himself in a Chinese restaurant in New Hollywood, where he runs into a girl, Pai, who is being chased by a Chinese gang called Koenkan; Akira gets involved, but Pai is captured.

Pai and Akira help a little boy who is picked on by the youngest members of the Koen-Kan; Yang uses Wei to lure Pai out of hiding.

Akira & Pai stumble across a steakhouse and enter a steak eating contest.

A climactic fight between Akira and Yang Wei-Ming takes place; after, Pai and Akira join Jacky and Sarah on their journey to New Las Vegas, where Jacky has a race.

The group is on their way to New Las Vegas for Jacky's up-coming race; Akira shares the deep reasons for why he is on his destinationless journey.

Jacky's car race is sabotaged by Kagemaru; a Koen-Kan gang leader wants to fight Akira; Kagemaru kidnaps Sarah in the aftermath of the crash.
