Chuck Hicks

Chuck Hicks was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hicks started his acting career landing roles in such films as the dramatic adaptation "Ice Palace" (1960) with Richard Burton, "Merrill's Marauders" (1962) and the western "Johnny Reno" (1966) with Dana Andrews. He also appeared in the Lee Marvin crime picture "Point Blank" (1967) and the Clint Eastwood action movie "Dirty Harry" (1971). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the James Caan drama "Hide in Plain Sight" (1980), the Clint Eastwood comedy "Bronco Billy" (1980) and the comedy "In God We Trust" (1980) with Marty Feldman. He also appeared in "All the Marbles" (1981) with Peter Falk. In the nineties, Hicks lent his talents to projects like the Warren Beatty and Charlie Korsmo box office smash "Dick Tracy" (1990), "FX2 - The Deadly Art of Illusion" with Bryan Brown (1991) and "Grand Canyon" with Danny Glover (1991). His credits also expanded to "The Bride of Re-Animator" (1991) and "Street Knight" (1993). Most recently, Hicks worked on "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (2011-14). Chuck Hicks died on May 4, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV at the age of 93.
