Jacques Weber

Jacques Weber was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Weber's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the romance "Faustine et le bel ete" (1971) with Muriel Catala, the Yves Montand thriller "État de Siège" (1973) and "R.A.S." (1973). He also appeared in "Le Malin Plaisir" (1974), the Catherine Deneuve fantastical drama "La Femme aux Bottes Rouges" (1974) and "Une Femme Fatale" (1975). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in "Gazl el Banat" (1985), "Suivez mon regard" (1986) with Pierre Arditi and the Anouk Aimée drama sequel "Un Homme et une femme: Vingt ans deja" (1986). He also appeared in "Une Vie suspendue" (1988). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Don Juan" (2005), "Les Aristos" (2006) and the Karin Viard dramedy "Les Ambitieux" (2007). He also appeared in "Odette Toulemonde" (2007) and "Intrusion" (2008) with Amira Casar. Most recently, Weber acted in "Les yeux jaunes des crocodiles" (2014).
