El Cadáver Insepulto
Maximiliano is a psychiatrist and writer who suffers from strange visions of his past. He receives a call from his foster brother Héctor, who tells him that Aldo, their adoptive father, has passed away. He returns to his hometown, hoping to cash in on some of the inheritance to pay off his multiple debts. Maximiliano, forced to remain in town waiting for the reasons for Aldo's death to be clarified, is reunited with Anita, his first love, and several of his foster brothers, all who are now high representatives of the local active forces: the police commissioner, the priest, the director of the local newspaper, the president of a club and Héctor himself, as the most prominent businessman in the place, owner and heir of the slaughterhouse that was passed to him by Aldo. In the reunion with all of them, old grudges, resentments and pending accounts arise, as a result of Maximiliano's abandonment to succeed in Buenos Aires. At the same time, the visions become more intense, as Maximiliano is forced to relive highly traumatic experiences.
