The Chopin Shorts: Kids Collection
The Chopin Shorts is a collection of short films by award-winning animators. Each short is set to one of Chopin’s etudes, performed by star pianists from the Lang Lang Foundation. Kids Collection consists of: "Papa’s Boy" (set to Opus 25. No. 9), a computer Pixar-style 3D animation film about a little mouse who wants to be a ballet dancer, which his father, an ex-boxer, just can’t understand, until our little boy mouse uses his ballet dancing skills to save his father's life. "Pl!nk" (set to Opus 10. No. 4) is a fast-paced, hair-raising ride through an inky world. A minimalist painter loses his toddler inside one of his own paintings and has to climb inside to rescue his mischievous toddler from the ink monsters. "Hamster Heaven" (set to Opus 10. No. 11) is a traditional 2D animation about the lengths that a male hamster will go to not to be separated from his female mate. "Fat Hamster" (set to Opus 25. No. 8) is a stop-motion 3D animation that stars two exceptionally lovable fluffy hamsters, one of whom just wants to eat all day.
