With rapper Donnie, Janny prepares a vegan bamischijf. Wassenaar, a snack bar in The Hague, have been selling homemade snacks for over 50 years, using old, traditional recipes. In Tilburg, a French fry snack bar have a special way of keeping their fries fresh. The potatoes lie in a tub of water all day, then, only when they’re needed, they are peeled and fried. It’s a method that has lasted three generations of French fry maker. But while these two snack bars stick to tradition and old, handed-down recipes, the Croquette Corner prefers innovation. Croquette with Peking duck or sauerkraut, anything is possible.
