Michael Spound

Actor Michael Spound was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. He also appeared in the TV movie "Emergency Room" (1982-83). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Home Room" (ABC, 1980-81) and "Battle of the Network Stars XVIII" (ABC, 1984-85). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1984-1996) and "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1987-1994). Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "Star Trek: Voyager" (1994-2001), "The Single Guy" (NBC, 1995-97) and "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime, 1999-2005). He also worked in film during these years, including a part on the Matthew Modine comedy "Bye, Bye Love" (1995). More recently, he tackled roles on "The District" (2000-04), "Las Vegas" (NBC, 2003-08) and "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-). He also was featured in the TV movie "I'm a Spring Break Lawyer" (MTV, 2000-01). He also appeared in the romantic comedy "Must Love Dogs" (2005) with Diane Lane. Most recently, Spound acted on "Hart of Dixie" (CW, 2011-15).
