Can We Love?
Three best friends grow up to very different situations in their adult lives as they approach the age of 40. Yoon Jung Wan (Eugene) is a divorced mother who is struggling to make it as a screenwriter and make ends meet. Kim Sun Mi (Kim Yoo Mi) is a successful interior designer but considered to be a “gold miss” (a successful, but single, career woman in her 30s) by Korean standards. Kwon Ji Hyun (Choi Jung Yoon) is a housewife to a successful husband who appears to have the perfect life while hiding her personal pain from her friends. When Jung Wan is given a golden opportunity to work with the temperamental, successful director Oh Kyung Soo (Uhm Tae Woong), will her struggles in life finally come to an end? “Can We Love?” is a 2014 South Korean drama series directed by Kim Yun Cheol. It is based on the book Mother Needs a Man by Han Kyung Hye.
