Chris meets his new police handler, Zoe for the first time. She’s ambitious and determined. Luckily for Zoe, Chris has been recently inducted into the inner circle of the family – meeting Ara Sarkissian and his right hand man Garabed, his mother Lucine and one of his many cousins, Hamo. Unfortunately for Chris, this now means he is in very real danger of losing his life. He is set the task of smoking out and ‘dealing with’ an accountant who has been stealing from the business. He succeeds – in all the wrong ways. But he’s in – and to Zoe, that’s all that matters.

Arno and Ara have the wedding of the family’s boss (and distant relative) Yurik Petrosian’s granddaughter coming up, and both are keen to impress. Chris is tasked with intercepting some stolen gems, getting them to Ara’s man ‘the jeweller’ for a gift to be made and the rest fenced. Relatively straightforward – except Chris’ nemesis’ and Arno’s right hand man Christophe, has taken the jeweller’s place and Chris has inadvertently handed the gems straight to him. It falls on Lara, the true brains of the family to get them back from Christophe – and boy does she know how to cheat a cheater.

The Police are becoming impatient with ‘Operation Piccolo’ and see the release of Ara’s henchman Tommi Lylozian from prison as an opportunity to progress. Incriminating evidence on the Sarkissian operation is to be gathered by Chris – wearing a wire. As Tommi is welcomed back and guaranteed the protection of the family, Chris struggles not just to get evidence but to stay alive, due to the fact that Tommi is a raving psychopath. In the end, Chris takes matters into his own hands to get results…or so he thinks.

Stepan has been arrested for possession of (a lot) of firearms and drugs. The family are concerned but furious. This puts them under scrutiny at just the wrong time. They’re also worried Stepan could turn whistleblower. The family can’t risk him going inside. Meanwhile Zoe is under pressure: a DCI Langdon has been brought in on her case to get results and she better play hard ball. Chris will need to decide where his loyalties lie – with the police, or with saving Stepan. And if he can save her brother, Lara will really show her gratitude.

Ara is the victim of an assassination attempt. With Ara out of action and unable to steer course as the head of family could the fabric of the family finally be disintegrating? Would Arno actually arrange a hit on his own brother? Zoe tasks Chris with keeping everyone calm. Fingers are pointed and Stepan drags Chris off to take out Arno in revenge. But they end up confronting Christophe, and turn on him instead. Then in a twist that stuns Chris, Christophe reveals that he’s an undercover cop too. Chris must step up and save another policeman – even if he hates him.

Yurik the big boss is set to announce his successor - Ara and Arno are both convinced it will be them and tensions are high. En route to a big family meet, Chris runs over an older gentleman who just happens to the big boss himself, Yurik. Panicking, Chris bundles him in the car boot to deal with later - only to discover that Zoe has been caught up in the gun-toting clutches of the Sarkisians. Chris has to save Zoe, himself and sort Yurik without being exposed. Plus Lara has a few announcements of her own to make. This can’t end well for Chris… can it?
