When lawyer Thakral (Amrish Puri) falsely accuses Deepak Verma of murder, Deepak is executed, leaving behind a wife, who goes insane with grief, and a son with a need for vengeance. Deepak's son, Arun (Anil Kapoor), goes through rigorous training to become a defense lawyer. His plans to defeat Thakral in court are threatened by his son, Vikram (Javed Jaffrey), who tries to humiliate Arun by eloping with his sister. Arun must save his family while seeking vengeance.
