Out of the Darkness is a strong dramatic sequel to Into the Darkness. It follows the Skov family in Denmark from 1943 to the end of WWII. The growing opposition to the Nazi occupation of Denmark and the increased brutality of the Germans have fatal consequences for the Danish family.
