A computer hacker suddenly penetrates all of the Vatican's security systems to send an urgent anonymous request directly to the Pope. The Roman Curia then sends the young Father Quart from the Vatican secret service to investigate the mysterious case. The hacker's message refers to a dilapidated 17th century baroque church in the heart of Seville. Death is at home in the church. Father Quart sets off for Andalusia.
