Until I Met You

In 1929, a young Victoria lives in Parácuaro, Michoacán, and is about to get engaged to the wealthy Manuel, but her world turns upside down after she meets Gabriel.

Gabriel sets fire to the Parácuaro fields and his actions send him to a mental hospital in Mexico City; Victoria faces public scorn and makes a decision that will change her life forever.

Victoria and her family arrive in Ciudad Juárez looking to start a new life; Victoria must adapt quickly to move forward with her children.

An elderly woman who suffers a mental illness uses Alberto to earn a living on the streets; in the meantime, his family desperately looks for him, fearing he might be dead; when Alberto returns home, everyone promises to take better care of him.

Alberto spends his days waiting for his mother to visit him in the court system.

After escaping from the Court, Alberto is rejected by his mother, but persuades Juanito to receive him at home, as long as he earns his life honorably; later, he meets the world of gospel, a new musical school that leads him to live in California.
