Anthony Cistaro

In pursuing his childhood dream of acting, Anthony Cistaro managed to land roles on major television shows throughout his career. After graduating high school, Cistaro moved to Los Angeles, where he attended Loyola Marymount University and studied acting under Stella Adler. He then worked within the American Repertory Theater Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard. After a few TV and film roles, Cistaro got his first big break as Henrí, the Frenchman and romantic rival to bartender Woody on the hit sitcom "Cheers." He appeared there for a five-episode arc from 1990 through 1992. Cistaro later popped up in many classic sitcoms and dramas throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, including "Seinfeld," "The Nanny," and "Alias"; he even appeared in a minor role in the series finale of "Friends" in 2004. But his highest profile role came on the short-lived fantasy series "Witchblade," where he played the billionaire Kenneth Irons.
